Farm Link connects California farmers to training, resources and other farmers in order to sustain family farming and conserve farmland. They were unhappy with their current logo and asked me to design them a new look that emphasized their professionalism and experience dealing with financial and business matters that affect small farmers. They also wanted to keep much of the existing imagery and the friendly feel of the logo.

Behind the Celebrate People’s History Poster
I recently completed a two color poster for the awesome Celebrate People’s History poster series distributed by Just Seeds. The CPH posters are a venue for radical artists to highlight social movements and examples of popular resistance that are often left out of most historical narratives. Below is the finished version of the poster I created and I want to use this post to go into a little more depth about where the imagery comes from and why I chose it.
